Monthly Club meeting at Susie's Country Oaks Cafe, 1000 Melody Lane, Roseville, CA 95678
Meeting starts more or less at 8:00 and runs till 8:30 or so, depending on what the Rafflemeister has in his goodie bag.
For $10, members wearing a name badge get 6 regular raffle tickets and 1 "big prize" ticket. No name badge, no big ticket, but you might be able to buy one? Maybe?
What's better than a spirited ride through the beautiful NorCal roads we've been blessed with? If you want to have breakfast first, show up around 8 or so. Except for special events, the rides are generally 2-3 hours in length, and cover 100-200 miles. The rides are generally "spirited" but if we get enough participation, we generally add a second, more relaxed-pace group. Clutch out is 9:00AM, and gps route files are generally available for download on the website at least a day before the ride. Please show up with a full tank of gas.
Continuing the annual tradition of a ride on New Year's Day, we'll work our way to the Delta, and end up for lunch in Rio Vista. The usual destination is Foster's Bighorn, but they'll be closed, so we'll go to Hap's Taps just down the street, across from Lucy's.
We usually take a ferry or two, if they're running, which can be iffy, so I have alternate routes in case one or both ferries are down.
Leaving from the Chevron at 4316 Town Center Blvd, El Dorado Hills, at 9:00am and arriving at Hap's Taps about 11:30.
Come with a full tank of gas, ready to depart at 9 sharp. It's about 100 miles.
2026 Annual Whale of a Tour B&B ride in March
By Greg Peart
March 13 through March 15, Friday/Saturday/Sunday, 2026
Greg & Cyndee Peart will again be hosting the first RCB ride of the season. This tour has been running now since 2007. Destination has always been the beautiful Seagull Inn Bed & Breakfast in Mendocino. This tour was conceived during a Manchester beach campout to be a couple’s tour, rain or shine, non-campout & the first RCB tour of the year. Long time RCB members & past president Jim Douglas & his wife Ayla purchased the Seagull Inn of Mendocino way back around 2006. In 2018 they sold the Inn to new owners Ian & Kim Roth. The Roths have graciously extended the same 15% off standard weekend rates with a 2 night minimum stay. All 10 rooms are blocked off, so reservations must be made by calling: The Seagull Inn at: 707-937-5204 or by calling Ian directly on his cell at 415-847-1661. Let Ian or the Inn’s staff know you are with the River City Beemers and you will receive 15% off the standard weekend rate, there is a 2 night minimum stay for this event. Your first night rate will be charged as a deposit when the reservation is made and the balance required at check-in. Cutoff date for reservations will be: 8PM, Thursday, February 7th, 2026. If we exceed the Inn’s 10 room limit, Ian, Kim, or their staff will assist you in obtaining lodging close by in town. As in past events, this will be a very easygoing weekend. Activities depend on the weather, size & wishes of the group. The Inn is a beautiful place to just chill. Mendocino is a historic district, small coastal town that is just wonderful to stroll about, trail hike the coastal headlands, watch the migrating whales, shop, and just relax. This tour is designed for couples & is a hit with the ladies. Singles are very welcome also. Need I mention the fabulous breakfast delivered to your room each morning? As in past years we will again enjoy a group cocktail party at the Inn each night prior to departing for dinner & an Irish coffee someplace in town as the Mendocino Hotel has been closed for our after-dinner libation.

So I would suggest you book your rooms early. There is always a 3 day "No Charge" cancellation policy prior to that date. Room Block will be released April 18th. Also, there is a kite festival on that weekend and rooms will be going fast.

The 2026 Memorial Poker Run will again take riders through the local California countryside as they answer questions and note landmarks on a fun morning ride.
The day starts with the May meeting at Susie's Country Oaks Cafe. Then it's over to A&S for the start of the route. GPS routes and route sheets will be available at the registration table, along with raffle tickets. Once riders have the information they need, ride the route and collect the answers to the questions. Newcomers can always hook up with a group and be welcome. If you don’t know anyone, look for someone with a blue name badge. As club leaders they can help you find a group to ride with.
Destination will be in the Newcastle area at the beautiful home of a club member. There is a $10 charge, which includes lunch and the first poker hand. You can buy additional hands for $5 each. After lunch, there will be raffle prizes, a 50/50 drawing and the prize for the best poker hand.
Although pre-registration is not required, it does help with planning for the lunch.
Bring a full tank of gas and any questions to the May meeting.
Ride Safe!
